Style Sheets
International standards for bibliographical citation, as well as other stylistic issues, have always been important for students and staff writing essays, theses and books. Guidelines for making correct citations are presented in style sheets, which define how a piece of academic writing should look in order to conform to current stylistic practice. For every field of scholarship there are accepted sytle sheets which have come to represent the most practical and aesthetically pleasing approach. Ultimately the appearance of a paper - not just its contents – will determine its success.
