Mag. Amy Bruno-Lindner

Amy Bruno-Lindner (formerly Krois-Lindner), was born and raised in New York. She studied English at Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts, and German and English at the University of Vienna. She teaches language competence courses at the department. She has also developed and teaches ESP courses at the Vienna University of Technology and the Vienna University of Applied Sciences (Technikum Wien). Her interests include English for Special Purposes (particularly Legal English), presentation skills, and academic and scientific writing.  Together with TransLegal, she is the author of the course books International Legal English (Cambridge University Press, 2006, second edition 2011) and the co-author with Matt Firth of Introduction to International Legal English (Cambridge University Press, 2008).
